| Just before the Antarctic flights began the USAF allowed the public in to have a look through a C17 Globemaster. This is a very large plane and quite an impressive piece of engineering. I occasionally see one of these planes flying overhead on its way to or from the ice. We had to queue for about an hour and in the end we ran out of time when we were only halfway through the interior. But I still took whatever photographic opportunities I could get. | |
