| This is the mid-point of my travels. The trail does go further than this (they're building it all the way to the suburb of Hornby in Christchurch) but here is where it departs from the original rail route. At this stage I had a rest and something to eat, rearranged my drinks and set off back the way I came for 20 glorious km of head wind. | |
